2013 – DEGRADATION OF A VIRGIN CORPSE
Human Compost's first EP shows the band in its simplest form: more streamlined, more immediate than anything that followed. Occasionally sickly humorous. At this time Compost was essentially a studio project for Chris and Eddie, with Geoff joining on vocals and also providing studio drums. Toward the end of the recording Simon Haroon entered and was able to cut a lead on the slower track 'Reduced to Human Sludge'. Some band favourites from this EP include 'Decomposed' and 'Prenatal Punching'. The audio from this session has been remixed and mastered for a better presentation than ever before.
2014 – THE COLD FLESH
With this second cassette release we see Compost's first full lineup, with Allen joining on drums and Simon Haroon now fully incorporated into the group. The songs seem to have taken a slightly melodic turn, and most of them are still staples during the band's live sets. Covers of classic GG Allin and Autopsy songs then fill out the remaining play duration. The best sounding cassette available was used for the source audio... nevertheless the tape media's limitations have this recording sounding decidedly more grim and lo fi than any of the other offerings included in this compilation.
2014 – REDUCED TO HUMAN SLUDGE
This massive sounding EP features two songs from the band's first release re-recorded as a full lineup, as well as a new song, 'Cauterize Her Cunt'. Covers of classic Possessed and Mayhem songs then follow, showcasing Compost's diverse old school influences in both death and black metal.
2014 – UNRELEASED PROMO
There were a number of false starts during the recording sessions for Compost's 2015 full length, FROM THE GRAVE THEY CRAWL. From those sessions a pair of new songs were included for a split release which never saw completion. This recording features Andrew Power's first appearance on guitar. Fun fact: Due to a moshpit injury sustained by Allen prior to this recording, all drum parts were performed with only kick!
2018 – BONUS TRACK
IMPETIGO's 'Breakfast at the Manchester Morgue'. Featuring Aaron Whitsell and Kevin Reese of Cropsy Maniac providing guest solos and vocals.
