The Nipples are not a breath of fresh air. They are a BLAST of it! This is a real dose of what good punk rock should sound like. A very classic and quite raw (yet not lacking in melody) sound emanates from the speakers when this disc is being played. Tons of energy and plenty of fuck-you attitude and, of course, a nice acerbic sense of humor are all part of the game plan. While every Nipples song is a story in itself, this EP takes the band in a new direction all together where as the eight songs run together in story form. How can you not be amused by the snot rock that the Nipples bring, this being their 3rd release you get more of a feel of the band and their style of short fast punk songs done with a comic theme. Some of the songs hinge on almost poppy but too crewed and distasteful for the masses to ingest. More importantly, this album is real punk. There is no way The Nipples will ever make it on MTV and that is absolutely fantastic. It is fun-tastic. It's truly a beautiful breath of fresh air to hear an album that you know they did just for themselves and anyone else who likes it is just an added bonus. Influenced by the likes of The Descendents, Angry Samoans or The Queers.
