Side A is Andrew Bird & Nora O'Connor covering Robbie Fulks's "I'll Trade You Money for Wine" (from his 2013 album Gone Away Backward). Andrew brings an elegant, elegaic classicism to Robbie's timeless tale of travail---um, is that too much alliteration? Anyway, the song takes Robbie's original stark, feral longing to a wonderous new place.
Side B is Robbie Fulks going deep catalog and totally batshit on Andrew Bird's "Core and Rind from his now classic album The Swimming Hour.
