Twelve inch vinyl pressing. Before The Ukiah Drag, there was American Snakeskin. One of the most legendary and obscure recordings from the fervent Tampa scene that birthed Merchandise, Cult Ritual, Neon Blood and The Ukiah Drag, Turquoise for Hello was the only record by now-defunct Florida outfit, American Snakeskin. Though the band was comprised of three individuals who were previously involved with killer recent Florida punk and noise bands (Diet Cokeheads, St. Dad, and Neon Blud), this record is more of a nod to rock ‘n’ roll. Influences cited by the band include The Clean and Youtube videos on how to play blues guitar. We hear similarities to reverb friendly pop like Broken Water with the added twang of white guy blues like the Gun Club.
