Divider is one of the current bands upping the ante for Long Island Hardcore. On their debut EP, these five guys from the Smithtown area rage chaotically on six tracks from Dillinger Escape Plan's turn-on-a-dime guitar riffs, SkyCameFalling's ability to calm then blast, to Converge's penchant for assaulting the sense, with the vocalist growling, screaming and singing through a barrage of slicing guitars and lethal double-kick, targeting corporate greed, religion and the coming apocalypse.
